Heads Up Display HUD

When you are needing a windshield replaced it’s important you select a company that uses the correct manufacturer procedures for your vehicle.  But, more importantly it’s important you have the correct windshield.  When the windscreen is replaced, the vehicle identification number and parts catalog must be consulted to ascertain whether the windscreen in question is suitable for Head Up Display (HUD).

With a conventional windshield, the projected image is reflected on the inner and outer glass pane, producing a double image.  So make sure you know if you have the HUD feature on your vehicle before calling around for quotes.  Windshield for Head-Up Display are marked with the letters “HUD” on the outside at the bottom right below the seal
