2011 Ford Focus windshield versus movable basketball pole

We received a call last night that happened to be an interesting story and a first for us.  Apparently there was a huge gust of wind and the wind blew over a moving basketball pole and it fell onto the windshield of the Ford Focus.  Below are a few pics that show the damage to the windshield.
