Kia Windshield

Kia, like many other automobile companies, got an unusual start, as it began in South Korea, in 1944, as a manufacturer of steel tubing and bicycle parts.  The company ventured into motorcycles in 1961, and ten years later began making trucks.  Kia Motors America was started in 1992, but it wasn’t until 1994 that the first car, the Sephia, was introduced.  Kia is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, and is a part of the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group, with Hyundai having the controlling interest.  Hyundai and Kia both share a lot of the same qualities and values.  The two brands have seen an increase in their share of the automobile market, and are enjoying increased sales.  Both try to provide consumers with quality cars that have plenty of options and features, and hold good value.  One of the greatest perks of a Hyundai or Kia vehicle is their incredible warranties that are among the best in the market place.

Kia, interestingly enough, derives its name from Korean words meaning, “to arise to the world from Asia.”  Since 2009, Hyoung-Keun Lee has run the world-wide company from Seoul, with Kia Motors America covering North America, and Kia Motors Europe covering the entire European market.
Kia models include, but are not limited to, the Kia Forte, the Kia Forte 5-Door, the Kia Forte Koup, the Kia Optima, the Kia Optima Hybrid, the Kia Rio, the Kia Rio5, the Kia Soul, the Kia Sorento, the Kia Sportage, the Kia Sedona, the Kia Amanti, the Kia Borrego, the Kia Rondo, the Kia Sephia, the Kia Spectra, and the Kia Spectra5.
