Mercury

Mercury began its tenure in 1937 as a bridge between the economy-priced Ford vehicles and the luxury Lincoln models of that time, and that has continued until this year.  The Mercury brand was launched by Edsel Ford, son of famed, automobile maker, Henry Ford, and from 1945-2011 was half of the Lincoln-Mercury division of Ford Motor Company.

The name, “Mercury,” comes from Roman mythology, meaning,“messenger of the gods.”  It has been a great model for many years, has always been known for its performance, and has been sold in the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and the Middle East.  The last Mercury, the Mercury Grand Marquis, rolled off the production line on January 4, 2011, as the Ford Motor Company decided to phase out the brand.  The company will now be focused more on the Ford and Lincoln models.  However, the company is still honoring warranties of those Mercury vehicles, and is directing customers to the Ford and Lincoln brands.  Also, do not worry, for your local autoglass repair shop will still be able to assist you with any issue with your Mercury vehicle.

Mercury car models include, but are not limited to, the Mercury Milan, the Mercury Grand Marquis, the Mercury Sable, the Mercury Milan Hybrid, the Mercury Capri, the Mercury Cougar, the Mercury Marauder, the Mercury Montego, the Mercury Mystique, the Mercury Topaz, and the Mercury Tracer.
Mercury SUV/Crossover/Van models include, but are not limited to, the Mercury Mariner, the Mercury Mariner Hybrid, the Mercury Mountaineer, the Mercury Monterey, and the Mercury Villager.
