Lincoln

Lincoln has sustained itself as the valuable luxury division of Ford Motor Company for many years now.  Lincoln is headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, and Ford has 100% of a controlling interest.  Lincoln is always producing unique options, make both cars and SUVs, and concentrates on sleek styling, luxury interiors, powerful engines, and many incredible options and features.  It was Henry Leland, who also founded Cadillac, that manufactured the first Lincolns in 1920.  Henry and Edsel Ford then bought the brand in 1922.  It wasn’t until 1945 that Lincoln-Mercury was founded, but the brand has been enjoying great success since then.
Lincoln models have been focused on luxury, and continually try to break from critics that characterize them as just another premium brand.  The Mercury brand, however, has been discontinued, so Lincoln models should see even more or a rise in sales.  Lincoln has also benefited by being under the Ford Motor Company, for as Ford makes improvements in terms of mileage, crash tests and quality, they then carry over into Lincoln vehicles.  Lincoln is also in the luxury brand market with the likes of Lexus, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar.
