Chrysler Windshield
Chrysler is an automobile maker that has seen a variety of ups and downs throughout its time as a vehicle manufacturer. It all began in 1921 when Walter Chrysler purchased the Maxwell Motor Corporation, due to its struggle financially. Walter Chrysler was able to right the ship, got the company back on its feet, got it financially sound, and then renamed the company after himself. The big expansion of the company occurred in 1928 when Chrysler purchased Dodge, and created both the DeSoto and Plymouth brands. Another fall began to occur in the early 1980s, but famed Ford executive, Lee Iacocca, took over the company, introduced the K-car and minivan, and brought the company back from near bankruptcy. In 1998, Chrysler became a part of the giant DaimlerChrysler AG, which was then sold in 2007 to a private equity firm. It struggled, and then hit bankruptcy in 2009, but was saved again by the US government and Italian company, Fiat, which now has a majority stake in the company.
The Chrysler Company is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and of the three Chrysler brands, which include Dodge and Jeep, Chrysler produces most of the mainstream vehicles consumer see today. They have a sleek design, have good performance, and are real reliable vehicles.
Chrysler models include, but are not limited to, the Chrysler 200 Convertible, the Chrysler Town and Country, the Chrysler 300, the Chrysler 300C, the Chrysler 300M, the Chrysler 200, the Chrysler Sebring, the Chrysler Sebring Convertible, the Chrysler PT Cruiser, the Chrysler Aspen, the Chrysler Aspen Hybrid, the Chrysler Cirrus, the Chrysler Concorde, the Chrysler Crossfire, the Chrysler Fifth Avenue, the Chrysler Grand Voyager, the Chrysler LHS, the Chrysler New Yorker, the Chrysler Pacifica, the Chrysler Prowler, and the Chrysler Voyager.
